There is no magic table in Oracle.
There is nothing magic in Oracle.
There is only computer science.

The only magic in the eyes on users when developers use triggers to do something behind the back of these users.

Dual is always there and Oracle can't properly work without it, maybe we can call this magic but this is only because we don't know why it is necessary.

Regards
Michel

Next time you're in an interview and someone starts talking or asking about something you don't know, tell them. Ask them what they mean, what the answer should have been.
That way, you show them that you are eager to learn, plus you may get a chance to tell them what they wanted to know after all.
Going through an interview is NOT sitting up like a dummy. A good interview should be a two-way conversation.
