I have one table which is the parition table. The table always updated and inserted. We have created Bitmap index for this table

It is true that ...

Bitmap indexes are not appropriate for tables that have lots of single row DML operations.. especially, concurrent single row DML operations..

Our DBA is saying why we need to drop bitmap Index.

Please help me

You have the answer: either bitmap index either DML but not both.

That means,we need to drop Bitmap Index..
