everybody,
you know i am new for oracle. simple question i like to know answer is what is schema. i understand tables and other things, but this is confusng, please explain me.

Hi every body,
i know you know i am studying oracle. and i understand tables and columns and rows and many. but schema is explained which is confusing, can you explain this simply. please help me to understnad schema.

Returns over 2 million results, at least 3 of which on the first page will answer your question in detail.

A schema is a collection of database objects. A schema is owned by a database user and has the same name as that user. Schema objects are the logical structures that directly refer to the database's data. Schema objects include structures like tables, views, and indexes. (There is no relationship between a tablespace and a schema. Objects in the same schema can be in different tablespaces, and a tablespace can hold objects from different schemas.)
