Hello,

I am new to the PL/SQL Developer tool. I log on to several databases to run numerous SQL scripts. I am in need of running a SQL scrip in another database but I do not know how to add it to the Oracle Login sreen.

I was told that you have to add the new database to the TNSNAMES.ORA file, is this true? If so, is there a particular format that I follow?

Thanks so much.

The easiest way is to copy existing database alias and paste it at the bottom of the file, change information that is different (database alias, host name, port number, ...), save the file and that should do it.
