It normally takes some time for it to be processed, however if you have any questions or concerns you may want to contact the testing organization that administered the test.

No you don't receive a confirmation email.
You have to wait for certificate.
It can take 2 months.

Michel

It appears you can't wait. This is the second topic on this subject. Michel already stated in the other topic that 2 months is not an exceptional delay. I also answered to you that you could send a mail to Oracle if you are in a rush.

Mohammed, you forgot to mention the pin. Razz. I used the OCP logo on my resume once if I'm not mistaken.

MHE

Edit: the logo is still on it.

Oh yeah! That's me allright Very Happy. You know me very well.

I wear the pin every Monday.
I have folded the certification paper as a paper hat. On Tuesdays I wear that OCP hat.
Each Wednesday, I distribute A3 size color prints of the OCP logo to my colleagues and I ask for dumps PLZ URGNT.
Thursday, I send mails to all my contacts reminding them that an OCP is in the house. I immediately invoke my 'out of office' assistant with the message that the OCP is in the house but that he doesn't have time to read their mail because he is busy with OCP related stuff.
Then it's casual Friday and I can wear my OCP pin as an earring.

Yes, it's a joy working with me. http://www.orafaq.com/forum/fa/917/0/

On a more on topic note: very few interviewers asked me about the logo or my OCP. And I really mean: very few.

lol!

Also back on topic: I get the idea that in certification is valued less in our region than it seems to be in India. The reason for this may be the bigger supply of people wanting the position.
This could also explain the weird interviewer - interviewee relation that is so often described here.

I am planning to take the OCA 9i exam.
Since you have completed the exam successfully I would like to know the mode of preparation you adopted and any reference materials. I would be thankful to you if you could guide me with this.
