Hello all,

i am trying to install 10g on CENT OS.
While installing the OS, i have selected static ip and
gave my ip as 192.168.1.101/255.255.255.0.

While trying to install oracle,the pre requisites fail for the network configurations," it says am using a DHCP".
But am not.

/etc/sysconfig/network-scripts/ifcfg-eth0 file shows

.
.
BOOTPROTO=static
IPADDR=192.168.1.101
..
..

Where is it that i have gone wrong??

TIA,

JJ
