Hi,please see the following scenario .

i have user "ORACLE" hold oracle software and is part of DBA group.
I enabled REMOTE_OS_AUTHENT=TRUE

i created a administrator user in my laptop ,name same as "ORACLE" .

now question is ,will i be able to connect to Oracle databse on server ,using connect / as sysdba ?

Forgot to mention.Both server and my laptop are in same network

You also forgot to mention your Oracle version.
And also your parameter remote_login_passwordfile.
And also your parameter remote_os_roles.

Yes there is one.
But how that matters if i am using only "/ as sysdba" ,no password specified.

Its default(FALSE)
