hi,

sometimes data entry in JDeveloper and even oracle forms doesnt work not because of the JDeveloper itself,,but because of the settings u have on your machnine,u have to go to the regional settings and change the language to let's say(arabic jordan) and make sure that an arabic keyboard status is installed ,u can do so by going to:

control panel>regional and language options>
you have 3 tabs:
1)regional options:
in this tab choose an arabic language (arabic jordan)
2)languges
in this tab click details > then click (add)to add arabic keyboard status
3)advanced
here define the same arabic language(arabic jordan) in the list

----------------------
note: u can replace(arabic jordan ) with any other arabic value, like saudi arabia
