Hai,

Im planing to implement data guard, ive some doubt in hardware and software requirements

like

primary database server :
1. operating system AIX
2. oracle datbase 10g R2

standby database server :
1. operating system HP-UX
2. oracle database 10g R2

it's passible to config the diffrent operating system

The operating system for all members in a Data Guard configuration must be the same. However, Data Guard can run the same Oracle image that is built for the SAME platform (ie. 32-bit Linux and 64-bit Linux). Check Data Guard Hardware and Operating System Requirements.
