Hi all,

I am a beginner in UNIX and Oracle DBA.

Could you pl. let me know steps creating the 2nd database on AIX-UNIX box.

Srini,

You need to have a parameter file (init.ora file) for the new database, direcotories etc for parameters like bdump , cdump etc and a create database statement. I guess that is about it..for a reference you can see:
