hi,
i want to know how to De-install oracle 8i and 9i from
solaris 8 platform.

can anyone plz assist me to know how to do this?

Practically You can only to delete all files from ORA_HOME and OraInventory. Also will exists some files from oracle (for example oratab ), but this files are principal. ALso You can find in system all files which was created by oracle and to delete files that refers to Oracle Instalation.
