Hi,

I'm using a product compiled against Oracle 9 libraries (requires libclntsh.so.9.0 and more), while I'm obligated to use Oracle 10. I have been told by other users of the product that the Oracle 9 client libraries work fine against and Oracle 10 database.

However, I am to run this configuration on another environment than they are, and I can't find the client libraries for Oracle 9. On oracle.com I'm able to find the client libraries for Oracle 10 (called "instantclient" for several operating systems/architectures. Does anybody know where I can get the Oracle 9 version for Solaris/SPARC (both 32 and 64 bit versions)

Thanks in advance,
Jan

Okay, thanks. I take it there's only specific client libraries for the Windows environment. I will just install the whole thing and use that.

Thanks,
Jan
