I have installed Oracle 8i on my PC at home because I am a student taking a database course. Now that the course is finished I no longer need it, but I'm not sure how to unistall all of Oracle and it's components and the database. How do I remove the database and everything else.

Start by sticking the oracle 8i cd into your pc and select deinstall.
That will remove almost all of the oracle install.
Next, go to your command line and type regedit.
expand hk_local_machine, expand software and delete anything that starts with Oracle and reboot your system.
next go to windows explorer and remove any remaining oracle instances in your drive.
WARNING: Be careful with regedit.
