hi i need help badly!
if i try to update a record in oracle forms that i have selected using a lov it will not let me save the record whereas it will let me normally
please help i am in a real dilema here!!!!!!!

Once you select from lov, where are you putting it?
If you are putting the value into a database column, then that value gets inserted into the table and you might have a unique constraint on the table.
Try this :-
from lov..hold the value in a dummy field or Global field. Once that is done, then u can go ahead and update the table.
