Problem on temporary tablespace [message #158768]

Dear All,

While creating on materialized view i received the following error;

ORA- 01652:unable to extend temp segment by 256 in tablespace mytemp.

But I already set that tablespace as autoextend and maxsize in unlimited. this my developement database.
also disk have 20 gb free space.
Then why should It gives me error.
I am in comfusion, please help.

Are you sure? Double check the info in dba_tablespaces and dba_data_files for the MYTEMP tablespace. Note that temp segment in that error message does not necessarily mean temp tablespace.
