Hi all,

Could anyone explain me about the diff between utlxplp.sql and utlxpls.sql scripts. I know one works serial and other parallel.

What are Parallel and Serial?
How does it works?

Please Let me know in detail.

If you are new to it, then it really won't matter which one you use to start with. Just pick one and go with it. You can read the scripts themselves, at the top of each it tells you what they do. If you are using 10gR1 or up, then just go with utlxplp.
