Hi to all...

I have a pc with OS window Xp.

I did install Turbo C/C++ in my pc.
But when i run my program it show error messages like:

--Unable to open file stdio.h,conio.h.----

This is a common problem for me and i always failed to find a solution.
when i install turbo c/c++ or any c compiler on any OS whether it is Window 98 or other windows OS i faced this problem.

So plz tell me how do i sort out this problem step by step because i m new to c/c++.

Shaila.

Hi Shaila

follows these steps to resolve ur problem

1.) After installing c/c++, open the compiler editor.
2.) select option - > directories and set these parameters.
a) include := find the location of your installed
tc directories i.e c:\tc\include
b) lib := c:\tc\lib
c) source := c:\tc
d) output := c:\tc

then compile, this will definately work.
drives & directories are optional, find from your system.
