I am attempting to run a delimited report through a form but throws error REP-1804 (not valid printer definition file). DESFORMAT is set to delimited but surely i dont need to have a delimited.prt file, not sure there is such a thing. Also when running direct from report builder delimited report is produce with no problems without a delimited.prt being present.
My question is why does it check for a .prt file when calling via form(command line) but NOT when running direct from report builder (10g).
For reference, report system parameters are DESFORMAT=delimited DESNAME=c:\xxx.dat DESTYPE=file MODE=character, calling from form (i.e.command line) parameters are p_location=ftp://xxxx:xxxx@xxx.xxx.xx.xx/billingvatsummary.dat userid=xxxxx@xxx p_end_date=31-MAR-2005 paramform=NO username=xxxxx jobname=D:\xxxx\reports\FTS_xxxxx job_id=-1 p_start_date=01-JAN-2005 desname=ftp://xxxx:xxxx@xxx.xxx.xx.xx/billingvatsummary.dat p_valid_pms="('xxxxxxx')" authid=ANONYMOUS destype=file destination=D:\xxxx\xml\ftp_pnd.xml report=D:\xxxx\reports\xxxxx distribute=yes background=yes expiredays=0 p_report_type=P desformat=delimited
Any help/suggestions gratefully recieved
