Hi to all gurus,

I m looking forward towards Solaris certificatios as most of the Oracle servers are hosted by Unix flavoured OSs.

Is it a right move for a DBA ?

And which version do i go for ? Whether it should be Solaris 9 or Solaris 10.

Any help would be apperciated.

thanks,
tarun

I think experience is more important than certification, but if you'll have to choose between solaris 9 and 10, I'd go for 10.

[EDIT]
Coming to think of it: can't you do the S9 certification path and upgrade it to S10?
