Hi、

We have Data warehouse system. This is on Oracle 9i. We have a massive data on that system. Couple of tables consists of around 20,000,000 records. Now there are queries, which required joining these tables. Do you have any idea how do I improve these table structures to improve fetching of data. We are ready to implement any solution.(E.g Partition table or indexes)

Does anybody have any experience on this?

Thanks a lot.

Regards,
Rajesh

Is it a true data warehouse, with a star schema (fact and dimension tables)?

You'll definitely want to read the Oracle 9i Data Warehousing Guide.

If you give us the structure of the tables and what your queries look like then we may be able to help.
