Hello Experts,

I am facing problems with my DB. The performance is very poor and always hangs. I generated the Statspack report which i am attaching for your reference. I am new to performance tuning and cant understand how to identify the bottlenecks of the database through the statspack report.
Can anybody help me regarding this and tell me what are the standards which I should concentrate on to improve performance.

And, also can anybody give me some tips to read the statspack report like which events to concentrate on and other things.

Pls. reply as soon as possible.

Thanks in advance.

Milind.

I don't see any major problem with your instance.
Load is low 0.11 tranx/sec. Instance efficiency is good. wait event are mostly idle, waiting for client.

I think mid-tier application or web.
aspnet_wp.exe should be checked.
