1. What is the latest release of Oracle for OS/390?
2. Does that release support all PL/SQL features and functions for OS/390 as they are on non-mainframe platforms (e.g, Unix)? Or are there differences in what is supported?

I do not have access to MetaLink or other forms of Oracle technical support.

Thanks for any answers that can be provided.

Latest release is 8.1.7.2

Just about everything w/ PL/SQL is supported w/ OS/390. UTIL_FILE is one of the packages that now uses USS, so I'd be careful with it. XML functions also use USS.

Access to the web is all you really need for metalink access. Just register on-line.
