Hello all,

I have an Oracle 8i database and I need to control the level of permissions given when connecting via MS Access odbc. I've granted the user only select perms, however they can still add records to tables.

Thanks in advance!

Hi,

That's probably because they connect to the user/ schema that owns these tables. Consider creating a new schema and grant select privs to the new schema.

Best regards.
