hello friends,
i'm having problem while using data guard GUI utility, i have followed all the necessary steps to create a primary database at primary site but when i give remote login name in data guard configuration manager it does not takes the remote login though it has already been discovered by the discover nodes wizard.the error that it gives is 'Data guard remote process startup fail' when ever i connect to the remote node, just to let you know that i'm dnt have any database on standby node only oracle home resides there and if i'm missing any steps please do help me in correcting the steps, it is very urgent..
my database is in archivelog mode..
thankfull to everybody who will or wont give me the answer or any clue..
