Hi,

we have Oracle 8.1.7.4 on Veritas Cluster on SunOS5.8 . If there are many user processes and the database is on heavy load, the cluster switches because the test script from Veritas got no response from the database within the specified time frame.
The script only updates the timestamp in a table with one entry with type date.
Is there any usefull possibility to give that command a higher priority, that it gots a response even on heavy load situations.
Thanks in advance for any ideas.

Regards, Werner
