I want start oracle listener from remote client,when I telnet into the server as oracle user start listener some error happend:

$ lsnrctl start

please set your
ORACLE_SID
ORACLE_HOME
set ur PATH=$PATH:$ORACLE_HOME/bin
and login as the user having FULL privileges ( a user in dba group OR login as oracle)
