Hi,

We are passing a korn shell script name as a parameter to pl/sql function which again passed to java stored procedure from pl/sql stored procedure. I am not able to run the shell script. This shell script genearates a temperary file in his home directory.

If we pass "/usr/bin/ls", we could get the output. But we are not able to run our shell script which is taking his environement variables. Please suggest the reasons for not executing my shell script which takes environement variables.
And also tell me the necessary sucurity things to be taken into consideration.

Please let me know for further clarifications on this.

Thanks

I guess you've tried calling the script directly from the command prompt. Watch out for <, &#124, > etc
