Oracle is not compatible with RedHat 7.0. What you need to do is Ö down grade the c libís to Linux 6.2 version. Or install 6.2.
If you look into metalink you will see the full details for it.

I have similar problem with 8.1.7 v3. Is this version of Oracle also not supported on Red Hat 7 ?

Any clue on this is highly appreciated.

go to http://metalink.oracle.com/ and query RedHat 7. You will find all you need there.
It is far to long for me to go with it.
Good luck
