VB6 and OCI [message #94447] Wed, 10 November 2004 03:43

I was using OLEDB to connect to oracle from VB6. But this didn't support 'objects','nested tables' and 'varrays'.

So I tried OO4O which supported all the datatypes, but if I built  the application using oracle 9.2 client my application would work only on machines having oracle 9.2 client.

Please suggest me how to overcome this issue.

Some one suggested to use OCI, can someone tell me how to use OCI from VB6.
