Hi,

I'm using Pro*Cobol 8.1.7.4.0 with Microfocus Net Express 3.1, dev under Windows and prod under AIX.

Some embedded queries have aleatory behavior, typically :

- when the same host variable is used several times in the same statement (I have to declare :host1, :host2 , binding them with the same value)

- or when there is a sub-select with a host variable

Sometimes (not often), those queries don't retrieve any row, though they should (they do if ran from sql*plus).

Problem can appear both with AIX or Win (running .GNTs resp with rtsora or RUNW.EXE)

Does anyone know about that ?

Are sub-selects supported by Pro*Cobol ? Is it written somewhere a host var can be used only once a statement ?

Is it a known bug ? Is there a patch ?

Thanks for your help.
