I have an Oracle8I DB installed on a Unix CompaqTru64 machine. I have Cobol Programs installed on the same machine(Micro Focus Cobol). When I tried to compile the Cobol Programs using the Pro*Cobol Precompiler installed on the server as an Oracle utility ,an error is issued :
"/usr/bin/cob : library not found : -lsgr"
and the compilation can't be done.
"/usr/bin/cob " is the Cobol Compiler Name as specified in the Cobol makefile.
Can someone help me, please?

set the environment LD_LIBRARY_PATH to $COBDIR/coblib
where COBDIR shuld be set cobol Installation.
For example/opt/cobol.
