Hi,

My users are submitting their resumes through html textbox . They paste their data from word document and other word processors, however some characters are being saved in oracle clob field as '¿'.

Has anyone faced similar problem ? can u tell me how i can avoid while displaying it back on the web ?

Yes, I am encountering a very similar problem. I actually have french characters in clob fields but when the data gets saved back into the clob, with any changes, the french characters get converted to upsidedown question marks.

Does anyone have a solution?
