I have some pdf files stored in a table in 9i db. My discoverer v is 4i. I want to display this pdf files using discoverer.I have changed the type content to file in the item properties but still i am not able to invoke the pdf from discoverer

I got the similar problem. Can any one please help on this.
I am developing a report on discoverer 4 using oracle 9i DB where I have to retrieve file_data column from fnd_lobs table into discoverer 4.
I tried creating a custom folder b selecting the sql 'select file_data,file_id from fnd_lobs' in discoverer 4 admin edition.
I used the above custom folder in desktop edition. But the file_data column is displaying blank in the report.
Any help is much appreciated.
