hi

can u please guide me what is compressor and how to use it for character reports.

I have made character report that opens in corrcet in the previewer but when it is printed,  it is printed on 8 inches instead of 14 inch page width.
I have tried all the .prt files existing in the Oracle Reports folder.

SYSTEM PARAMETERS
                                Mode = printer
                                desformat= WIDE
i am in a fix, getting no solution.
I have tried a lot. Read all the postings on 'ORAFAQ REPORTS group' related to character mode.
and tried almost all solutions.

I am not geeting appropriates answer. Plz help me.

Hi,
CHAR mode reports we can view
but we can't take print out.
if we can increase report height and width it is possible, i am not sure

i developed one matrix report if u want this mail to me
