Using reports 6i, I am trying to use program units to populate data into non-table fields, and am not having any success. I have created F_1 field on the report and in the properties of this field I set the source as plcaeholder field I created in the query. What I am not sure on how to do is to set the value of the placeholder field via a program unit(if possible). This value would be a character value.
I'm not sure this is the correct procedure on how to populate data into a non-database field or not. If it is not, please show me the way.
