I hope this is a dumb question...
I have a query that has two groups associated with it. The query deals with absence information for high school students. Each row in the query has a date, a period number, and a reason code. For any given date we can have one or more rows of data returned.
G1 is above G2, has the date column in it, and has a placeholder column. G2 has the period and reason_code columns and has a formula column that appends data to the placeholder column in G1. I need to re-initialize the placeholder column in G1 back to blank when each date changes.
I can't seem to figure this last piece out.
We're using Reports 6i.
