can anybody tell me how to close report background
engine whlie existing from report or how to call report
without report background engine with sytax pls.

in registry u have to create a new string

oracle_engine_shutdown and give the value as yes

HI
I found the solution with changing reg value.
after adding text parameter of oracle_shutdown to yes
it will automatically shutdown report background engine.
