I am running into exactly the same error message as yours and am looking for an answer.
"SSL failure runing another product"
My form is calling a report when the user presses the SUBMIT button.
The chunk of code in my form is as follow:
run_product(reports, 'rept4', asynchronous, runtime,filesystem, params_list, NULL);
Did you know how to solve this problem??? I'd appreciate if you can give me a brief explanation of the above error message.

There is a key missing in ur registry. do the following:
in regedit, go to
HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE > software > ORACLE
create a new string:
REPORTS25_TMP
with the value:
C:WINDOWSTEMP
This shud help...all the best!
