Hi,

I have a Combo Box in which the user can enter new value. But the case restriction should be uppercase. I am using forms 4.5. How do I set the case restriction of Combo box to UPPER. So the user always enters uppercase values. Its possible for TEXT Items as there is a CASE RESTRICTION property for text items but not for COMBO BOX

then u should write a when-validate-item trigger.
raise error when user enters non-upper letters.

Hi,
Open the Property pallete of your Combo box.
Go to Functional properties.
Set the value of "Case restriction" to UPPER.
