Hi All
I am new to forms and loaded forms 6i in my system but i was unable to connect due to the listener problem.
1.Through net configuration assistant i configuerd my listener and got the test sucessful
2.i was able to connect to sqlplus with the host string
3.here lies my problem.
but i was unable to connect to forms as it shows ora:12154 tns no listener.
Pls do help me with this and do suggest some links where i can get tutorials for beginners in forms.

Hello,
I made the experience, if the database is installed, the Oracle home selector points to the database_install_dir
If you install afterwards some other components as the developer suite/forms the Oracle home selector points to the forms_install_directory. You have to change this to the database_install_dir
After installing the developer suite/forms you have to adjust the entries in forms_install_dirnetworkadmintnsnames.ora and
forms_install_dirnetworkadminsqlnet.ora
or just copy these two files from
database_install_dirnetworkadmin to
forms_install_dirnetworkadmin
Depending on your Developer version the "Network" directory is sometimes named "Network60" or "Network80"
or just "Network"
