in first form(invoice form)

invoice_no form already inserted (example 10 record on it)

then in second form(payment form)it consist the payment form and invoice1 form for LOV from invoice.

first i inserted the payment_no as  primary key then insert others payment information then when i key in f9 and choose the invoice_no then i save it.so here the record for payment_no was already set to the invoice_no chosen from invoice1.

Now how can i search back with only typing from query the payment_no so that when it execute the invoice_no from invoice1 can be display automatically ?

so could u plz help me how to display the record?

Do u have a foreign key relationship in the payments table against the primary key invoice no in invoices? If yes yu should not have trouble doing what you want.
