hello to all
i need to develop one application in oracle 9i DS. i want to develop one single application that should allow me to work as stand alone application (connecting to the local database) and as a web solution.
i mean to ask, if the main office is using it as stand alone application, then can the same application be installed at the branch office and "can work accesing the database located at the main office" ?.
(just by changing the database path to access the remote database).
i wnat to develop "one single application" that will allow the people at the main office and at the branch office.
how can i do this ?.
shall i develop the application as web solution or can i develop it as desktop solution (GUI) and give a provision to connect to the remote db server whenever it is required ?
please some guide me
