Thanks Himanshu, then is there a way to unit test my local form without replacing its older version on Appl server. this form should be called from another form that sits on the Appl server. You cannot run this child form by itself.

John,
Until you place both the Forms on the Appl server you cannot call the child form from Appl Server form.

If you just want to see how things would look on the web then open the parent Form in Forms builder on local M/C , compile it & Press Cntrl+E.
This will give you a feel how the form will look on the Web.

If you are using Forms 9i or 10G then you can set up local Web host without Appl server.
