If you are using Forms 6(i), you could install the Open Client Adaptor, which lets you use ODBC from Forms. You can find OCA on your install discs. There is also an example on http://www.geocities.com/oranails.

If you are using Oracle Server 8/9/10, you could use Generic Connectivity option of Hetrogeneous Services, which allows the Oracle Server to connect to ODBC sources over a database link. I did a worked example with an Excel spread sheet on http://asktom.oracle.com/pls/ask/f?p=4950:61:15738880224844462205::::P61_ID:4406708207206#18830681837358

You might be able to use Ole Automation on the Forms side to connect to, and drive MS Access or SQL Server. I had a look and couldnt make sense of it.
