dear friends,

how can i get a calendar to be opened for a date entry for m application in place of writing the date manually to the field.

Hi Dipankar

We have something called Calender Class... Have U Heared of it?

We have sample code and form available in forms Demo itself. You can just use that form in your application.

For the date item take a trigger "KEY-LISTVAL" and use CALENDER.SHOW;

In the properties pallet of the date item,under List of Values Select:

List of values: Enable_list_lamp
Validate from list: No

This should enable a calender.

hi sunil,
plz clarify me about the properites of the date item. i.e what will be the item type for the date item , i have made the datatype of the item as text item as list of values properties is only available with text item.
i am working in forms 9i
