Hi,
am finding a peculiar problem in reports.
problem goes like this,
it is a sales summary report, composed of almost of 10 queries. actually this report is developed in Reports version 4.5. now we r opening it in 6i. all reports other than this sales summary is executing without any problem.
but the problem with this report is, everyday morning( ...or just before u run the report for the first time a day) we have to open this .RDF and just simply navigate in the queris, then compile, then execute , otherwise it will show all the filds as null...!!!! and even if i navigate with first query, the values related to that query will show values and others are null, if i do second also, only first and second query executes...but other won't ...!!!!!
like this i have to navigate with all the 10 queries to get all the values.
and if i do once, then thereafter no problem for that day.... but the same problem next day also.
but still what strange is , if i execute those report queries in sql+, it works very nice.
i haven't been able to locate the problem...
even i have designed it in 6i, but still the problem is continued.
since this report is very important report for the client ,somehow it is required to solve it.
can anybody help me .....
