hi

how to backup the database? is there a wizard of something that can be used?

Use the export option in the enterprise server manager
u can export a table or user or database or schema whatever u want and ofcourse it is a GUI wizard.
There is a dos version also available .
Just search for Exp.exe or Exp32.exe in the orant folder on ur server and run it. i will ask u all the details step by step and export the data.

after i've export my database using the exp.exe, then how can i recovery it?

there is another exe callled imp.ext at the same location as the exp.exe using which u cn import the dmp file u created

try using imp.exe
