Hi All,
Can anyone clear my doubt? I want to access the MS access database from the Oracle forms and vice versa. For eaxmple, I want to populate the EMP table in the access data base with the help of the records in the screen(oracle form).

you need to make a DSN first for your access database and hen u can connect to it from frms

Make datasource on the client 'access_ora' from ODBC
to connect enter
usernm/pass@odbc:access_ora

Thanx in advance for lending a hand. Can u teach me on how to set certain part of a form to be read-only and other part to be full-control.
