Hi,

FRM-40505: ORACLE error: unable to perform query.

Cause: Oracle Forms has encountered a processing error. The table associated with the current block of the form might not exist, or your username might not have authority to perform the specified action on the table.

Action: Pressing [[Display Error]] provides more information, if it is available. You can also try to update or delete this record later. If necessary, contact your DBA.

Best regards.

Frank

Execution error - Check all the columns in your block are related to the table. If you found any items not related to the table then make the database item property to no.

Lov - Check the query in sql for the particular condition.

Before doing the set_block_property clear the form using novalidate and then assign the defaultwhere value to the block and then execute query.

aslo check whether ur column mappings r correct. Try using a global variable for quering

thanks
