Making setup file in Developer. [message #83379]

Hi Friends

Is it possible to make setup file in developer ( like visual basic ) so that the user can easily run the setup file and install the software ( which is developed using develper 2000 and oracle 8.1.7 ) ?

not really.
one way to achive something like this is to make a winzip selfextrackting file where the install path is already known (is the path where from you make the selfextracting files.)

I think it is possible. Try with freeware installer creator (INNO SETUP). There are options to setup the registry values in which you can customize the directory path too. So it is possible to create a pachage and install as is.
